I like the link on the ways to trip lights with bicycles. Generally, I've tried leaning my bike a bit to widen my profile. Also, the city of Mountain View had symbols marked out in the stop lanes to mark where to trip the light with your bicycle. Was very useful, esp. late at night for quick left turns.
