But maybe yes, in some aspect. I think it just depends on how you or a person view it. I also choose to be entertained things that don't specifically needs money like cooking and etc rather than go out to a very expensive restaurants. And by doing those things, I certainly enjoy it but I don't think I am freegan. It just a matter of how you live it and enjoy it. And lastly, I do agree, there are a lot of different kind of enjoyable things/lives to be had in the world. Simply just enjoy every second of it! :) The reply you made was good. I think if you have a community around you that supports eachother with the freegan ideals, then it becomes a lot easier to actually live like that. When its just one or two people, its rather depressing, like in my situation and I find myself wanting to go out to eat or go to the movies for a change of pace, not because I'm hooked to consumerism ideals, but simply because of the lack of community and the need to see and hear other people. I think one element that seems pretty important with the freeganism lifestyle is community, which is pretty hard to come by, where I live anyways.
