- Bulking Up – An account of shopping the produce wholesalers in SF. The LA equivalent is a gargantuan affair near downtown. Scores of eighteen wheelers disgorging SoCal's irrigated fruits and veggies into long linear chilled warehouses for the ethnic grocers and restaurants. I wonder what the organic offerings would be like? I wonder if we could get together enough people to make buying by the case weekly worthwhile? Still need to go dive at Bristol Farms… free is hard to beat.
