Links for the week of May 8th, 2010

If you want to follow my shared links in real time instead of as a weekly digest, head over to Delicious. You can search them there easily too.

  • An ode to my matriarchs, every last one. – A reminiscence across the eons of mothers we all have… back to the dawn of gendered time, almost a billion generations ago. Reminds me of Dawkins' "The Ancestor's Tale".
  • Safra Center Institutional Corruption Lectures – A series of lectures organized by Larry Lessig at the Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard, on how institutions/organizations can become corrupt, without the individuals making them up necessarily being evil. Especially focused on governmental organizations.
